The Phirst & Phinest

Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. was established on November 8th, 1998, as the Nation’s first ever South Asian Interest-Based Sorority. Although, Kappa Phi Gamma was founded as a South Asian sorority, she has expanded the warmth of her Sisterhood to any and all motivated young women, willing to make a difference at her University and community. We thank you for visiting our site today, and encourage you to learn more about our growing sisterhood across the the nation.

Omicron Colony is located at Rutgers University - New Brunswick campus in New Jersey.  Omicron Colony of Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc was chartered on September 4, 2010 by six kaptivating women. Their goal was to empower young women and show them how to reach for the stars. They stand as representations of, and strong believers in, the 8 principles of sisterhood, character, leadership, scholarship, service, culture, womanhood, and self.  They wanted to help raise awareness about cancer and spread the message that it is a disease that not only affects victims, but their families, friends, and communities too.
