Omicron Colony is located at Rutgers University - New Brunswick campus in New Jersey. Omicron Colony of Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc was chartered on September 4, 2010 by six kaptivating women. Their goal was to empower young women and show them how to reach for the stars. They stand as representations of, and strong believers in, the 8 principles of sisterhood, character, leadership, scholarship, service, culture, womanhood, and self. They wanted to help raise awareness about cancer and spread the message that it is a disease that not only affects victims, but their families, friends, and communities too.
